Are you looking for the right music for the prelude, processional, and your ceremony? For the cocktail hour? Maybe you would like some advice: I lwould like to give feedback and can come up with suggestions if needed. We know what works well and we have lots of nice points of attention, details that we think are important, to think about.

Who are we? Who is The Dutch String Quartet?
I am Scarlett Arts, cellist of The Dutch String Quartet and since 1995 I have been working as a professional cellist in many ensembles and orchestras. I founded The Dutch String Quartet in this ‘#Bridgerton’ poppy classic format around 2008. Never had I dared to dream that it would be so busy during the wedding season: fantastic! Exactly what we find challenging and great to do. Because there is a lot of precision and timing involved. To ‘nail’ the entrance, exit and other ceremony moments is a big challenge every wedding again. After the exit song, we can relax a bit more and create the best vibe possible, based on your favorites from our big repertoire lists. You will choose your favorites from it!
We are a modern string quartet and work from digital tablets and can therefore take around a thousand titles with us. Every wedding and party is different, we choose with you what suits your big day. So there is never a shortage of music, no lack of light to read the sheet music and never too much wind that blows away stands and the sheet music; we are ready for it! We play a lot in the Randstad but are happy to travel to all the provinces of The Netherlands. We also started up a Belgian team because there were so many requests from Belgium. Since I was a casual player in Antwerp, I know lots of musicians over there; with these fine lady colleaugues I now also play on weddings all over lovely Belgium.
The String Quartet or ensemble with pianist also gives concerts. For example, we played ‘The Four Seasons‘ at The Concertgebouw with Rosanne Philippens as soloist, in a sold-out hall. On 10 June 2022, the hall was once again full at our wonderful concert where my colleagues from The String Quartet were rightly in the spotlight as soloists.
